Introduction
Our client, a leader in the HVAC industry is seeking to employ a junior Millwright or a Millwright apprentice
This position would ideally be suited to a candidate that has completed and passed their theoretical exam at a Marseta recognized institution.i.e. Northlink college or similar and has to do their practical in order to obtain a recognized qualification.
Junior Millwrights, complying with the requirements will also be considered.
Please note, this vacancy is in Centurion.
Duties & Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- PLC programming (siemens and Delta)
- Good knowledge in installation and problem finding on field instrumentation
- Experience with AC drives
- Available to work after hours, standby & call-outs and weekend overtime as the need arises
- Diagnosis of mechanical problems related to compressors, pumps and heat exchanger application
To Your Advantage
- Experience in HVAC industry.
- Experience with AC, INVERTERS
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Valves, NRV’s, PRV’s and strainers.
- Mechanical knowledge of pumps, compressors and chillers
Qualifications and requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid driver’s licenses
- Preferably own vehicle
- Minimum of N4 in Millwright/instrumentation or similar qualification
- Reside in Pretoria / Centurion area
